Now after that digital optimization became the baseline for consumers across different fields, the healthcare industry has been forced to relinquish some of its supremacy and adjust its methodology to the patient experience. This was seen happening with the “Uberization” of medical appointments. As a host of companies like MedZed, and Dispatch [1] have made ocean of on demand-apps for house/office calls. Half a century ago, nearly half of the doctor visits were at home, by the early 90s the trend vanished. Today, doctors are forced to bring back the personalized approach or risk to lose the patients to others who may be more adaptable and willing to embrace the digital trend [2]. Apps have bounced up to fill this cosmos, leaded by “Pager”, a “doctor on demand” company [3] directed by a Uber co-founder. Risks and Cynics That doesn’t mean that Uber-ization of the healthcare doesn’t have its cut of decriers. Those anxious about the new service model aren’t necessarily troubled about its effects on the current profession infrastructure, they’re concerned about the countless imaginable consequences of the gig economy [5].
