Uncle Tom’s cabin is the story about slaves in the early America. Through the story, the author Stowe wanted to appeal to American people of the equality of black slaves and white masters and abandon the slavery. In her story, there are many characters and different kind of characters. They make the story more fluently and touched the readers' mind. Many of them believe in Christian. Eva was one of them. Eva is a very kind-hearted girl. She was raised in a Christian family. Her parents gave her a lot of care and love. They formed her kind-heart and humanitarianism. After Eva known about the situation of Tom, she begged her father to buy him. When Tom first came to their house and knows little about his new master St. Clare, she told Tom about him for avoiding making Tom misunderstood her father’s kindness. When Eva met the black slaves of their family after a long time, she was excited like seeing her friends and kissed all of them. Eva made herself a real Christian. She had a nice relationship with the main character Uncle Tom. They have many interactions because of their same beliefs. They greatly agree with others ideas. Topsy didn’t have any relatives and was raised by a black slave seller, who treated her only with bad words. Topsy even thought do the wrong thing was the right behavior and thought it was an honor. She didn’t have a right view of behavior until she met Eva. Eva gave her love to Topsy and showed her kind heart. When Topsy got a dressing-down, Eva comfort her with soft words and blessing. Thus, Eva changed the life of this little black girl. Topsy became thankful for Eva and care about others. When Eva get sick, she made a bunch of flowers to her, which she would never make
