Within the first quarter of 2012, my flair for natural service delivery was already recognized and I was awarded my first quarterly Performance Excellence Award (PEA); awarded to only the top 10% of performers across all departments. As this needs to be transparent from the onset I would take full accountability for the targets set out for my role and I would remind and hold others accountable for theirs as well. I would offer my assistance should me team need, over and above what is expected of me. I commit to being a master communicator, to ensure I am heard and understood, and in the same breath I will promote the same skill within the team. In an effort to keep a positive outlook and that we enjoy our time away from home, I would arrange daily meetings to check-in on how we are doing, and arrange creative social activities for the team. I believe that social interaction is imperative for a team to form a unit, who understands each other, in order to function cohesively.
