The business I am proposing is a hotel business on the island of Guam. A hotel is a place where people stay to relax or to stay for a vacation. My hotel business is for the people who are coming to visit Guam or locals who don’t want to stay home. My business will be located in the northern half of Guam, where it is surrounded by cities, tourists sites, roads and beaches. Guam would be a perfect location for a hotel business because, Guam has a lot of modernized buildings and hotels are common for the people in Guam, who live a modern lifestyle, so having a hotel business in this island would work. Physical characteristics will support my business because according to CIA World Factbook, some areas are covered with flat land, this supports my hotel business, because I can but the amount of land I need to build my hotel. The Pacific Nations and Territories textbook states that, Guam has beaches, this supports my business, because I can locate my hotel by a beach so that people can swim and enjoy the view. CIA World Factbook states that 8.2% of the people in Guam are unemployed, this can support my hotel business because I can hire some people out of the 8.2% who need a job to work for me. Economy resources can help support my business because according to CIA World Factbook, thing like beds, clothes and food are being sent to Guam so this helps my business because I can buy the items I need for my rooms.
