In the 21st century, it is crucial for every person to get involved with technology. Specially, it is crucial for companies to use technologies broadly. For University of Arizona, we have a big organization for all the technologies that is aimed to support UofA to continue their work easily, fast, and in understandable way. Name of the organization is UITS (University Information Technology Service). UITS has a motto, which is “UITS Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Strategic Initiative.” UITS is a big family that has over 300 member service units, and they do not only make systems for students, they also make systems for faculty and staff to improve their efficiency. The main goal of D2L is to simplify difficulties of face-to-face interaction between instructor and student. By using D2L, a student can completely learn the class’s contents. Also once a student using the D2L, the student can access D2L from anywhere and at any time, and D2L provides students to access syllabus of the class, online readings, online quizzes, online dropboxes, and online grading. The next commonly used system is Uaccess, and the Uaccess stores main information about students, such as address, contact information, and GPA etc. This system helps students to enroll their classes in clear and reliable way, and it also provides opportunity to pay their tuition online. The Uaccess is likely to be official information holder of D2L. These two systems are completely connected each other, and support each other smoothly. The third mainly used system is Catmail, and every students in UofA have Catmail account that is given automatically. It is a cooperative system with Google. Therefore, it is secure and easy to use. The Catmail connects every students with their instructors every day. The last mainly used system of UITS is UA wifi, and it is a public network with access to internet, and it is open for every UofA’s students and
