After completing the PEST analysis, it is clear that two main factors that constantly change are technology innovations and regulatory policies in the industry. There are three main entrepreneurial opportunities that UPS should focus on: providing customers with more flexible delivery services, upgrading technology systems to provide more accurate tracking capabilities and technological breakthrough. There are numerous ways the package delivery service company could promote to address these issues, some transformative, others more progressive. In this paper, I will examine those three key areas UPS needs to concentrate on and seek future opportunities for the company (UPS, 2016). There are approximately 7500 small and large companies within the package and courier delivery service industry that has a consolidated annual income of about $90 billion. Over recent years, the courier industry has developed tremendously and UPS is a major contributor to the industry growth. Therefore, customers are able to track packages or get an update of their package(s) during in-transit status at any given time of the day because UPS consolidate their tracking information with apps like Google traffic data. The package and courier industry is one of the very few industries that have the ability to profit from these
