In German nobleman Christoffel von Lichtenstein’s legal plea for leniency to Count Wilhelm von Henneberg on August 24, 1525, German peasants’ cruelty and estranged behavior is apparent. From Lichtenstein’s perspective and being a nobleman most anything the peasants did came out as evil and rebellious. He goes to say that even though he had grown up with peasants’ parents, and was a very old age, this held nothing with the peasants and that they went on to force him into signing an allegiance to them. In the last year that would experience the terrible rebellions committed by the peasants, most of them in southern Germany, Emperor Charles V and the formal assembly of imperial councilors and officials advising Emperor Charles V came to the
P4 – Describe the three structures of the skeletal muscle (Epimysium, Perimysium and Endomysium) There are three structures of the skeletal muscle: Epimysium is a thick layer of irregular connective tissue that pulls the entire muscle as well as protecting the muscle from friction that may be caused by other muscles and bones surrounding them. M2 - Explain the fundamental principles which have been applied to the designs I have created an interactive HCI which has a lot of colours, I have made sure the colours used don’t clash and that they are easy on the eye for everyone, so the black writing on the blue background can be read easily without any Struggle. The buttons down the left hand side of the page are perceived as being together because they are all the same size, they all rectangle shaped and the text is all the same size apart from the language changer as the text is too big for the box size.
This project was a lot harder then my family and I ever expected it to be. At first we thought it would be good and we would feel better about not wasting and not having as much trash. But after a couple of days we noticed that we couldn’t do a lot of things we normally do like wipe our hands on a napkin or use a straw to drink at a resturaunt. We as a whole had to make a lot of changes like making our foods the night before and bringing clean towels with us everywhere we went. This project has really made us open our eyes to see what we were actually doing to hurt our environment just by going through our daily routine.
For this project, I decided to combine my love of drawing, baking, and nature in order to create a drawing representing my metaphorical journey. In this piece of artwork, The waterfall symbolizes my progress over the school year and how it has created multiple “rabbit holes” in which I have jumped in in order to get to where I am today. My journey, like when eating a cake, started out on the highest and smallest tier and ended at the largest tier on the bottom. Through this, you can see that as I went on my journey my horizons widen, there are more contributing factors to my life, and things get more complex, as well as a lot more interesting. Also, my development over the past school year is represented by the changing of the animal, as well as the habitat that is placed in on every tier as the journey progresses.

A Lifelong Journey in 127 Words Movement is essential to life and progress; if humans had never explored past their comfort zone, life today would be completely different. In Native Guard by Natasha Trethewey, the theme of movement is very prevalent. This movement is seen in ideas from actually getting up and relocating to a different place to internal journeys through time that bring the reader an entirely new understanding of the collection. In the poem “Theories of Time and Space,” Trethewey prefaces her collection by joining these two different types of journeys together to convey what is to come. Trethewey’s poem, “Theories of Time and Space,” focuses on a journey that could be taken in two completely different ways.

Karen Armstrong and Robert Thurman wrote their essays, “Homo religiosus” and “Wisdom”, respectively, describing two words, “being” and “void”. These words, although have opposite meanings, describe the same spiritual experience that come about through different means. By definition, “being” is a kind of fullness or completeness of existence and “void” is emptiness or a negation of existence. Armstrong believes that “being” is the equivalent of the Buddhist’s “Nirvana” while Thurman believes that “void” is the equivalent of the Buddhist’s “Nirvana”. Although these terms seem to be opposite in the literal sense of defining them, they lead to the same outcome: not being at the center of one’s own universe.

However, as a product of an elite culture, the ideals created were theoretical rather then operational. This can be seen in some of their city models which consisted of interchangeable dwellings that were easily moved and able to plug in to readily available services, responsive to an ever-changing environment. Other unrealistic ideas consisted of units on legs which could easily be moved if ever the city lost its rationale for
The author has tried to prove these two arguments by taking the case study of Metro Manila where the government’s only focus is to drive the export-oriented economy and attract a large sum of investment. And, how this focus has led to the neglect of the urban poor and their poor living conditions in the city. AIM The main aim of this paper was to understand that whether the emergence of informal settlements in the city is due to the consequences of the globalisation or is it due to the conscious negligence of the government towards this section of the society in the race of becoming ‘global cities’.
