Smooth Talk Thomas Paine once said “I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.” (Henry 102). Therefore, means that Henry only goes from one thing and that is Henry’s experience and that makes him better than the ones Henry is up against. A revolt against Britain that Henry advocates.
