What’was’the’transformation’that’took’place’at’Valpak?’• One of the primary reasons for Valpak to go forward with the transformation was to meet the demands of their customers .Valpak was mainly a marketing company with competition from many different companies ,but they where not at the top of their work, they had to go through a phase where there productivity decreased the reasons for this were they did not plan their work which lead to them unable to meet the deadlines they set forward. In order to overcome this problem they had to bring in some reforms to how they got there work done, they went ahead with agile methodolody. It provides more visibility by capturing and analysing in the Architectural Epic Kanban System 4) Portfolio Kanban is one of the most widely used and is also one of the many recommended practices in the SAFe. It is used for the planning, Visualising ,managing,prioritize and flow of the business epics ranging from the ideation till the implementation and completion. It serves a variety of pupose , few of them are listed below The Portfolio Kanban brings the much needed structure to analysis as well as decision making. It helps to avoid unrealistic expectations and keeps the expectations in check. Work IN Process limits are used to make sure that all the teams act responsibly. It also helps in the collaboration among the stakeholders. Kanban Portfolio was implemented at Valpak to Have a Kanban board with high visibility which had no Work in process limits applied. It was also used to have weekly kanban standup meetings with the sponsors ,these meetings were held to put light on the status of epics on the board. Which gave management more clarity of how the work is being carried out.
