As mentioned before Van Helsing and the others destroy most of Dracula’s boxes of earth. Dracula went through a great deal of planning to make sure that his boxes make it safely to his prearranged destinations. The earth in these boxes is no ordinary earth that can find anywhere. It came from Dracula’s homeland and has the ability to restore Dracula’s power after he rests in it. If all of these boxes of earth get destroyed, then Dracula’s vitality will be in critical condition, because he will have no place to rest and heal. Thus, without his boxes of earth in London he will not be able to survive there for long.
