Currently in my school vaping is a problem that is taking over the minds of students and making them into brainless zombies that can only think about when they're next smoke can be. Despite what most of the school thinks I think that vaping should become illegal so everyone feels safe and can live a fulfilling and safe life which people can not achieve when the people around them is peer pressured into it. If vapes are illegal, teens will have a smaller chance of getting a disease. It is proven that people who vape not just teens are much more likely to have heart disease. They should be made this way because teens could get in less trouble for having them. If they are legal then teens would not have to resort to doing illegal things to get the vapes. For example if a student at school wants a vape and there are still illegal then he/she will have to find another way to get one,like stealing one from a store which if caught could get that person sent to jail which gets out on their permanent record and is harder to get into college/high school. Many people do vape at school and then get in trouble for it because they are not allowed to have them in school never the less do it in school. So if they were legal then teens at school could do it with no repercussion and less chance of not being able to be successful later in life. If vapes are used in school kids can be kicked out resulting in a higher dropout rate and more people not working. If kids continues this then they will most likely either drop out or be kicked out of school and with no school means no college which all together results in no job because you do not have the education to get a good job. Just imagine if a girl in high school had a plan she knew what she was going to do after school. Did everything right, got good grades was captain of the track team. But one day made a bad decision and was caught with a vape and got punished with expulsion, her plan just went down the drain. Vapes are also made with nicotine which is highly addictive which makes teens more likely spending time doing that then doing there homework and studying for tests which tanks there grades. Because there friends could be like come on out and vape with us right after school for a while and they stay out until midnight when they get home they won't feel like doing homework or studying for that major test they might the next day they will just go to sleep. And because they are so tired will not be able to pay attention in class. Because the nicotine is so addictive it will become a mental addiction that is very hard to stop because they are just so used to doing it

As I read this article, and continued my research on this topic, I have come to a decision. I disagree with the argument the electronic cigarettes will lead to the addictive use of traditional cigarettes. As more and more people purchase and use these electronic cigarettes, they become addicted to the artificial flavors of the e-juice and the nicotine, not the idea of traditional cigarettes.
