Online shopping has changed the world's perception for the better. The online market has many ways of making online shopping beneficial to everyone and anyone. People that would have never been together before are coming together in ways that did not seem possible (Majerol 2). For example, online retailer etsy gives people the opportunity to purchase hand crafted goods from all over the world. If you want a piece of jewelry or a hand painted sign that you physically can not make or you do not have access to, etsy will allow you to buy it from across the country. By purchasing items through the online retailer, you are communicating with buyers and sellers that would not have had contact with you if you were to not buy their item. This also allows people to explore new cultural influences and give people an opportunity to get goods that are not near their homes. Along with having access to the physical component, people have many options as to whether they would like specific things.
