What makes a good creator? A good creator is someone who doesn't abandon their creation. It’s someone who will love you no matter what you look like or go through. A good creator isn't selfish and puts their creation before themselves. My reasoning behind my claim is you can't be a good creator if you are not competent, responsible, and selfless. Victor Frankenstein created a monster and he also lacked all three of those traits. He was irresponsible, incompetent, and he was selfish. My primary reason as to which Victor Frankenstein was a bad creator was mainly because he was incompetent, meaning he had little to no knowledge about raising and giving the monster the endearment and attention he needed which is a good trait to have when caring for something. I know that Victor didn’t have any prior knowledge because on page 45 it states “His dawd opened, and he muttered some intarticulate words. I took refuge in the court-yard belonging to the house which I inhabited; where I remained for the rest of the night.” I chose this sentence because it gives a clear image as to the neglect and abandonment that the monster felt and experienced. …show more content…

He was selfish as a person. If you bring something into this world you are expected to care for it and put everything before it. Victor failed to do this, he abandoned the monster and let it live alone for many years without the monster having knowledge as how to fend for itself.
