After reading Frankenstein: A case studies in contemporary criticism, I feel that that the whole novel was trying to get the audience to judge if Victor the creator is the monster because of his actions and intentions or is the creature the monster because of who it is and what it looks like or are they both victims of unfortunate circumstances. Such as Victor was a victim of his passion and he did not have the foresight to see the consequences, and similarly was the creature a victim of how he was treated and regraded, that’s why they both did what they did.
