Today it is so easy to just upload a video to the internet. All videos put on the internet have a purpose or a story behind them. Some videos have bigger impact and bigger meaning than others. Beyoncé’s music video Freedom is one of those videos that has huge impact and great meaning behind it. It is clear throughout the video that Beyoncé’s use of younger girls definitely helps the message that she is trying to get across. In the making of this music video, you can see very clearly what the main message that the maker of the video is trying to get across to the audience. Beyoncé message that she is trying to get across to the audience is to help and stop young girls form being getting married so young, to lessen girls that become a part of sex trafficking, and, most of all, get more girls into schools to get an education. This video has made its way around the internet and even on certain TV shows. This video has been on the Rolling Stones website, CNN, Billboard and even on E! news. The Rolling Stones recapped the important message in the article and the fact that “Beyoncé was able to mark International Day of Girl with this empowering video” (Rolling Stone). This video has circulated all over the web because of its very empowering message and none of these well known websites had anything negative to say about this video. Through CNN Melinda Gates stated, “‘I believe that empowered girls transform societies. Their future is filled with possibility, but continued progress is not inevitable,’” (CNN).
