Video Games Persuasive Speech

The world's population spends 2.9 billion hours on YouTube in one month. That's 326,294 years. This proves that people watch movie trailers and videos promoting events across the world. This is how the world gets the news about new movies or events because they see it somewhere online or on TV. No matter what year it is, video production will always be needed and will be watched. People with talent to be able to edit videos will always be in demand. The world depends on promotional videos for information on events like the Cleveland Gaming Expo. The video will include what will be there, prices, vendors, free console play and more. My intro is related to my senior project because it shows the facts about the expo and how video production will

For example if you don't know what this expo is, then why would you want to go. This will inform you on what it is and where it is held. An all-ages celebration of all things gaming! Showcasing videogame competition and development; board-game fandom; plus films and panels about video gaming (Cleveland Gaming Expo Website) My evidence is very important because all the location and time info is within that evidence. This is where the event is located and where the parking is located. Gordon Square Arts District (Near West Theater, Near West Loft Space, Detroit Shoreway Pop-Up Businesses, The Capitol Theater). If you want to go then you have to know the address of the convention center and parking lot. When you arrive at the event, you have an option on what you want to do there. You can go and listen in on a couple of panels and lectures on stage, you can go talk to game developers and what they do for a living other than creating video games, or you can go and play on older consoles like Nintendo 64 or SEGA. you can even play newer consoles like PS4 and Xbox One. There are tons of free console play is the lower level of the convention center. Arcade Legacy, The Side Quest, 8Bit Evolution, and many more. If you look on the website you can find the CEO (Chris Hatala) and his biography. You may navigate the website more and locate the sponsors. If you don't know who is in charge or running the event then you will not know who to email or talk to if you have any questions or want to talk business to him. If you would like to be a sponsor for his event then you have to know his name to approach him and talk to him. Some of his sponsors are well know in the film or video game industry and has a very good reputation. Some of the sponsors of his event are well known and he was partners with the Cleveland Film Commission. Chris is friends with one of the workers for the film commission. His friend offered to help him with the expo and to be a sponsor, that's how the film commision got involved. These sponsors help the event a lot. When the sponsors mention that they are heading to a gaming expo then people want to go and see what they are talking about. This brings in more money, and is good for Chris. Chris was very excited and was happy to see the turnout from this year's expo and plans to see double or even triple to number of people next
