“Competitive gaming” is more than just a game. Gaming is not just for entertainment anymore. There are many gamers who have adopted gaming as a profession. They can actually earn millions of dollars by just playing video games. That sounds crazy, and you might think that’s easy money. The time involved to really compete at the highest level requires a sacrifice that is equivalent to other high performance athletes, regardless of sport. They require instant reaction and perfect eye-to-hand coordination. After all the effort by a professional gamer, he should be considered as a professional athlete and video games certainly a part of sport.
