Today, we are going to be dedicating this episode to a giant in the entertainment industry and its controversially successful owner. This billion dollar media machine is none other than the World Wrestling Entertainment, otherwise known as WWE, and its owner Vince McMahon. WWE is one of the most viewed sports franchise in the world. Others may disagree with this but it is a known fact that there are over 80 wrestling companies worldwide and comparing these entities to WWE would be like classifying a butter knife on par with a nuclear warhead. Well he is the majority owner, having a share of 70%, and the CEO of the company. Alongside him, his wonderful daughter, the very classy, Stephanie McMahon CBO of the company and also her husband Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and I’m pretty sure we all know who he is, one of the longest employees of the company second to The Undertaker. Which is very impressive considering there are over 700 employees in the whole company. But let’s not get carried away here. The main man today is the one and only Vince McMahon. Vince had a passion for wrestling as his family were very fond of it as his dad who actually started the company with his wife (Vince’s mother) back in 1952, more than 50 years ago. The name WWE had very shaky beginnings such as, back in 1994, Titan sports (owned by Vince) entered into an agreement with World Wide Fund for Nature also trademarked WWF, and you can almost predict what is going to happen.
