Haitian Revolution How did Haitian expel French colony form their own native land for their freedom?.It was a great history because it was very hard time for Haitian during French colony but revolution changed Haitian hope and freedom. The Haitian revolution was a global phenomenon in terms of its origin, how the revolution was process and how its legacy is still felt today. The origin of Haitian revolution took place in the former French colony of Saint Domingue that lasted from 1791 until 1804.Black people worked as a slavery during time of French colony. Inhumane government oppressed black people and used as a slavery and set out the black code. According the code they only got limited food and work all day. The mulatto leader, Vincent Oge bring the new rights of man from France to Haiti with all hope to re subjugate and live independent. It begun when Jean-Marie d’Audgy,white president of the colonial Assembly in Saint -Domingue torture and execution of Vincent Oge in 1790.Black people got angry and revolted against the white colonial authorities in Saint-Domingue. …show more content…
