Immigration is the international movement of people into a destination country of which they are not natives or where they do not possess legal citizenship to settle or reside there. When they enter a new country, they receive the title of migrants or immigrants. Those that enter a country are designated as migrants, in contrast to those that are called emigrants. Which are the outward migration, they leave away from their naturalized country with the intent of settling elsewhere. There are over a million of immigrants that enter daily into the United States. From Europe, Africa, Mexico, and all over the world. Though there are a million that get deported back due to having a bad background history or other reasons.

It is not an easy process to go through if they desire to have it. They must go through a much rigorous timeline to receive it the proper way. Depending if they plan on getting a Visa, a Green Card, or their citizenship. A Green card is where you have the eligibility to live or work permanently in the U.S. A Visa is an endorsement where the holder can pass, leave, and enter a certain country. Citizenship is where the individual holds are the requirements required in that country where they reside. Getting citizenship requires years of waiting if they have not met any of the requirements. It also requires a test that is very difficult to take. Another option is marrying a citizen of that country or joining the Army. They come in search for better opportunities and to escape certain problems that are going on. Although it takes a certain amount of time to receive the right of being in this country, they will do whatever to achieve that possession. It takes a couple of years to receive citizenship, in which they need to have the right to reside in this country. Without it, they might end up getting into conflict with the law and ending up facing deportation. There are kids that migrate here for the same reason and they have an easy way of getting used to their new life here in the United States. They have a better opportunity of learning the history of their country, language, and starting early
