There were different popular books in the psychology world that can further help understand why we dream and what those dreams mean. Visions of the Night: Dreams, Religion, and Psychology by Kelly Bulkeley explains the different people who went about studying dreams. This text listed many different books that would help with the curiosity of dreams. Many psychologists that were listed in this book helped pave the way for psychologists today. Their books on dreams explain dreams, what they mean, how they were studied and reasons why dream and what they could mean. D. The term Lucid is used to describe when you experience the fact that you are actually dreaming. (pg. 157) It is only about halfway through the dream that realize that you are really dreaming and not awake going through that situation. A paranormal dream is a type of dream that may be difficult for to understand. It is kid of like dreaming the unthinkable. There are different types of paranormal dreams with lucid dreaming being included. This text also names many influential people who studied the different types of paranormal dream a little more closely. R. Van der Castle wrote a book called The Dreaming Mind that explained three different types of paranormal dreaming. Precognitive, telepathic and clairvoyant dreams can mean that you either see something in your dream about an event that may or may not happen, you realize something about someone in your dream or to find something out.
