Yassien Elpalla ARTH 1101 Professor Easton January 18th 2016 Exhibition Review/ Visual Analysis The name of the exhibition is “The cure For Anything”. It is located at the Walsh library at Seton Hall University. It will be displayed on January 19th to March 11th. This exhibition has been curated by Katherine Tedesco and Chelsea Levine. This exhibition features a lot of historical objects and contemporary art. The exhibition mainly focuses on Moby Dick. “The cure for everything” will be examined what drew people to the sea at the time of Moby dick and today” (Walsh Library). “There are ten artists work that will be featured in the gallery. The contemporary artists in the exhibition are Amanda Thackray, Dahlia Elsayed, Daniel Spink, Eileen Ferara, Matthew Nicolosi, Sunil Garg, and Viviane Rombaldi Seppey”(Walsh library). “The objects that will be displayed will be examining how mind, body, soul, and ego drew both Ishmael and many more to the sea” (Walsh Library). …show more content…

The name of it is Home Sweet Home by Viviane Rombaldi Seppey, maps from various countries. What really stand out for me is that when you look at it the first it looks so simple but it takes someone with a lot of talent and creativity to make this. The art work is made up of five sandals that displays various countries around the world. “The artist art practice relates to the idea of marks or traces, in both form and content.
