It is with this fascination that the scary story’s we all hear as children come to life. Even though these stories are endless one of the most popular or maybe even the most popular of these story’s is the story of Dracula. With the help of authors like Bram Stoker, Anne Rice and many others most people know the fictional story of Dracula however, these stories are just that fiction. The real Dracula did not drink blood, sleep in a coffin only come out at night or have any supernatural powers. Vlad would be warned by a messenger about an approaching army but before Vlad could respond an archer shot an arrow through a window of the castle injuring Vlad. This would lead to Vlad’s first wife who name is not known to commit suicide by jumping off the top of the castle rather than being captured Vlad who managed to escape would be captured a week later , which would lead to him being imprisoned for ten years. Soon after his release Vlad would marry his second wife Ilona Szilagyi whose father and Vlad where know to be good friends. They would go on to have two children a son name Vlad the IV and a daughter name Zaleska, this would leave him with three heirs including his oldest son Mihnea cel Rău who he would had with his first wife. Although being a newlywed and a fierce warrior on the battlefield Vlad the impeller’s death would come just a few years later in 1476. There are many different beliefs on how Vlad the Impaler died but the most common one is that he died on the battlefield during a fight against the Ottoman Empire. Although Vlad Dracula III is known today as Vlad the Impaler he would not be known by that title until after his death
