Leadership is the activity of driving a gathering of individuals in an association, which includes building up clear vision, imparting that vision to others, giving the data, learning and strategies to understand that vision, lastly to organize and adjust the clashing interests of all individuals and partners. To ensure accountability, a statement of Ethics is been designed by Walmart, which applies to all associates at all levels of the organization worldwide and all members of the board of directors of Wal-Mart Stores. This is part of the Theory X, to set strict rules and regulations. To make leadership easier Walmart has set rules which includes, following the law at all times and if any associate found violating the law should be immediately reported to the Global Ethics manger. To improve coordination employees are given permission to immediately raise any concern they may have about possible requests or acts that may be a violation of the Walmart policy.
