Can hard work and dedication produce a world-changing form of entertainment? Walt Disney believed it could throughout his entire life. Though e went through many high’s and low’s in his lifetime, Walt managed to formulate new and exciting ways to make the viewers of his art fascinated by the beautiful films he created. Walt Disney’s place as one of the most famous creators in the world to this day was an accomplishment that took a whole life of dreaming and hard work to accomplish. Walter Elias Disney was born on December fifth, in 1901. His family was living in Chicago we he was first born but later moved to Marceline, Missouri when Disney was only four. In late 1909, Walt began attending school with his older siblings. The Disney family moved again when Walt as ten years old in 1911 to Kansas City, Missouri. From a very young age, Walt found a love for drawing. He would “draw on anything” (Brown, 6), and quickly amazed his classmates with his talent. Walt never payed close attention in any of his classes at school. He was always pulling a prank or trying to think of “ways to make his classmates laugh (Stewart, 13). He spent three years planning and building for something very out of his element – an amusement park. He decided he wanted something different from all of the other parks around the world. When it was first opened, was not very impressive to the visitors. Many problems came about, and “Some said that the park was a big mistake.” (Brown, 18); but Walt fixed every issue as soon as it happened.
