Good afternoon everyone! Today I will be talking my hero, Walt Disney. Inexperienced and penniless, Walt Disney was. But in just a few years, he’d become a millionaire and have a whole company behind him. Walt Disney worked hard to get where he was, and now people of all ages know about his company or what is known as “Disney”. I am eager to learn his history because throughout his life he has featured many films, created lots of characters, and all for the entertainment of others. Whilst doing all of this he managed to follow his dreams. I’m going to talk about the success he gained and the failure he faced, who he was, and his philosophy of life. Before I tell you the successes and failures Walt Disney had gone through, you should learn a little bit about him. As a young boy, Walt loved drawing. Walter Elias Disney was born on December, 5 1901, and grew up on a farm which inspired him to animate animals. But being a little boy his most important job was to go to school and help out around the house, If he wasn’t doing either those two things he was outside sketching. He decided that pursuing his dream was more important, and that’s what he decided to do. In the process of achieving his dreams, he came amongst many conflicts. These conflicts resulted in getting turned down by a newspaper for not being “creative enough”, his company, “Laugh-O-Grams” declaring bankruptcy, his ideas being copied and more. It’s amazing how he never just gave up one day, and left it all behind. He is definitely one of the strongest people in the whole
