People all over the world wonder who the creator of the happiest place on Earth is. The obvious answer is Walt Disney. Walt Disney is an inspiration to all people, kids, and families. His imagination is completely out of this world. Lots of people look up to Walt and there's thousands of reasons why. He has a special place in his heart for creativity. He loves to show it through amusement parks or just a white piece of paper. Walt Disney is the number one reason why people have smiles on their faces. He had such a creative mind, every time he had a dream he would just draw it on a piece of white paper. Walt Disney and his brother then started a family business in 1923 (James, et al, A9). All of his drawings really came to life. The pictures would look like you could just reach out and grab it out of the paper. His older brother, Roy was considered the financial guru of the company (James, et al, A9). He then served as the president of Walt Disney Productions. Two months after Walt Disney World opened, Roy passed away. After he passed, his son took his spot and became vice president in 1971. However, Walt Disney Co was stripped of its DNA after Roy Disney quit the board of directors (James, et al, A9). Which created a mess in the business and the only person left was his uncle. A decade later, his brother bought the land in Central Florida that would open as Walt Disney World in 1971 (James, et al, A9). It is still up today and tons of families go for vacations, etc. There are 11 theme parks at five of the world's leading family vacation destinations (“Disney Parks Launches”). Disneyland Resort ,Walt Disney World Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, and Etc. The Disney Studio was a well-connected place because the workers no more thought of themselves as workers than they thought of Disney as a boss (Gabler 006). They loved Walt and treated him as a close friend but they still had the most respect for him. But when the studio relocated things got rough. Retlaw which is “Walter” spelled backwards, was the family's income (Peltz 1). They owned TV stations and much more. Walts business is still successful till this
