In today's society, Disney productions, and parks have impacted millions of individuals around the world. Disney World created something that will never get old. Disney is a place where magic comes to life with not just rides, but shows, and attractions. The creation of Disney had many factors into making it a real life fantasy. Disney has 4 extravagant parks that help disney connect together. The 4 parks had many failed trials that were made into mind blowing additions that made these parks not relating to anything else. Walt Disney and the many other amazing imagineers went through many series and processes to make sure the many parks are up to par.

While Magic Kingdom was in the process of being made, Walt was also busy creating a park that would be called EPCOT. Walt had the idea of making EPCOT the city of the future. EPCOT officially stands for The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, and Walt imagined it to be a community to many residents, and futuristic qualities. Walt imagined this area to be a utopian town where everything is the latest technology. In October of 1966, just before Walts passing, Walt created a 30 min long film explaining EPCOTs news concepts and ideas of how this land would be utilized. Two months after this short came out, Walt unfortunately passed. Many of the concepts were overlooked. “Some elements did survive in the Walt Disney World resort as we know it today, like the World Showcase concept, but so much more was planned. Unfortunately, the project has lost its main energy: Walt”. (“The Original E.P.C.O.T”). EPCOT officially opened October 1982, and it quickly became one of the main attractions at Disney World. Although Walts ideas were not followed, EPCOT still had some of the same theories as Walt imagined, including the Future World, and World Showcase. Nowadays, EPCOT has evolved from just watching attractions, to now mindblowing, and memorable ride experiences. EPCOTs rides mostly all have some kind of learning experience. Micheal Eisner, the CEO of that time, had an idea of making a movie-themed park in Universal. At the current time in the 1980s, Universal was partnered with many big movies including Paramount, but the ideas fell through. In 1984, Eisner became the CEO of Walt Disney World, and started to Imagineer what would be called MGM Studios, or Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios, a place where movies are made, and also an experience for visitors. Although Eisner was creating this park, he kept this idea private. Since he did this, Universal came out with their idea first, But while Universal was just getting started, MGM Studios officially opened a year before Universals, in 1989. “When Disney’s MGM Studios opened, the park focused equally on movie moments and behind-the-scenes magic.” (“History of Disney's Hollywood studios”). Many visitors thought that the park was incomplete, and did not have enough to blow guests away. Many Celebrities started to come to MGM Studios and had a handprint ceremony, and met fans. In 1988, MGM sued disney for using their park as a filming and production studio, which was not on their contract.
