Walt Disney Biography
Walt Disney was and still is well known for being a cartoon film producer and was also the creator of Disneyland. He was born on December 5th, in 1901 in Chicago Illinois, United States. He died in December 15, 1966 in Los Angeles, California (Lauder). During his teenage years, he dropped out of school, and joined the Red Cross as a driver in France after being rejected in the army for being underage. He then came back to America, he then started working at a film company to create “Laugh-o-grams” (Lauder). As he grew older, he managed to have a strong self- dependence and motivation to pursue his career despite the earlier childhood challenges; throughout the years, he became a successful business owner, he became the greatest entertainer of all times and created Disneyland, on the greatest theme park destinations for leisure and entertainment for families.

In 1923 Walt Disney decided to open his own business in Hollywood along with his brother and called it the Walt Disney Company (Lauder). He then became more popular and started to create more works, animations and cartoons. After working with universal for a while, he realized that they wanted to keep full ownership and the rights to his first famous character “Oswald the Rabbit”. Soon after that, he decided to create his own character giving life to what is now today on of the most famous cartoon characters, Mickey Mouse. Throughout the years of his success, he won an academy award for Mickey Mouse and acclaimed so much success that decided to keep creating animated films and innovating the filmography industry itself.
