Walt Disney is perhaps one of the most famous animators in the history of animators and is regarded as a cultural icon known for his influence and contributions. He developed a franchise that has touched the heart of many children all across the world. Without Walt Disney, the world would be a place that lacked creativity and inspiration. When Walt Disney was young, he was already well known for his skill as an animator and entrepreneur. He was especially noted for a filmmaker and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. Animation is the animation division of Warner Bros., a subsidary of Time Warner. This studio created shows like Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, and many others. The studio is the survivor to Warner Bros. Cartoons which was formerly known as Leon Schlesinger Productions. This studio produced shorts from 1933 to 1963, and from 1967 to 1969. Warner reestablished its own animation division in 1980 to create Looney Tunes related short films. The original Warner Bros. Cartoon studio was focred to close down in 1969 due to the rising costs and declining returns of short animated films.
