The King of Imagination “No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true.” Is a quote from Walt Disney himself. Walt Disney in other words is described as the king of imagination. He created Disney World, Disney Land, and many of our beloved characters we all grew up loving. It is he who also created Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald duck, Goofy and many other characters. Although Walt Disney passed away in 1966 his memories will forever live on through all of his cartoons.

Later on in their marriage Lillian conceived two beautiful girls, Diane and Sharon. Three years after Walt and Lillian wed, Walt Disney created his most famous characters; Mickey Mouse. His talents were first put to the test in a silent cartoon called Plane Crazy. However before the cartoon could make it to the big screen, sound was produced and Mickey Mouse made his way to the big screen debut in Steamboat Willie, The world’s first synchronized sound cartoon, which premiered at the Colony Theater in New York on November 18, 1928. Walt Disney held the patent for Technicolor for two years, allowing him to make the only color cartoons. On December 21, 1937, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first full-length animated musical feature, premiered at the Carthay Theater in Los Angeles. The film produced an all-time high of $1,499,000 during the great depression; the film is still considered one of the greatest imperishable monuments of the motion picture industry. It was another one of Walt Disney’s memorable successes. Before his passing he went on to create Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color, the Mickey Mouse Club, Zorro, and Mary Poppins which mixed live action with the animation everybody loved.
