What is the image that comes to mind when I say these two words? Cinderella Castle. Perhaps magical place... such as Disney World? Now, what about the introduction of every Disney movie… does whistling steamboat Willie come to mind? These topics all have one amazing thing in common; they were all created by one man who had a dream. Thanks to this one man, we are able to experience the greatness of Disney World, along with his many magical films! That man is Walt Disney, who has brought us tons of movies, theme parks, songs, shows, and characters that the whole world can enjoy. On another note, by revealing Walt’s transcendentalist-sides, we can infer that because of his transcendentalism, he loved adventures and had a strong bond with nature. In a biography written regarding Walt Disney, his family consisted of his older brothers and parents that had a big influence on his life; especially his brother Roy. Due to chores that needed to accomplished at the farm, Disney did not begin school until he turned sixteen. However, that did not keep him from pursuing and working towards his greatest dreams. Unfortunately, Disney and his father did not have the best relationship. His father was too caught up in his own work and did not have enough time to spend time with Disney. Walt's father was not very supportive of his dreams either, he didn't see a use in pursuing them. Although, his mother and Roy, his older brother, were always supporting him to live deliberately and pursue his passion. These strong, well-needed relationships helped his dreams come true, gave him hope for success in his future, and helped him push past his limits. Walt and his older brother Roy confounded Walt Disney Productions; which became one of the best-known motion picture production companies in the world. On another note, Walt battled through severe depression although seen as successful- according to a biography written about Walt Disney. Walt's achievements had not gone through any damage although his depression worsened. Walt's award for his first cartoon helped in the earnings of 32 Academic Awards, for his cartoon was the first given reward in history. Due to the fact, the perseverance given from Walt helped him realize that although there would be many obstacles, one must find the bravery to overcome them. Thankfully, he found the strength necessary and still managed to pursue his dreams in which had impacted many. On yet another biography on Disney, we see that later on Winkler and her husband had stolen the rights to Oswald- originally Walt Disney's creator. Although Winkler stole the idea of Oswald, the Disney brothers created a character that would revolutionize the Disney businesses. That character was Mickey Mouse. Although Winkler had stolen Walt's idea of Oswald the lucky rabbit, Walt had come up with a better idea, that of Mickey
