Everyone has different opinions on others around them. Having an opinion on someone can be affected by who they are, their appearance or what you know about them. Many have opinions on if someone is a “good person” or “bad person”, whether it’s someone they know in life, in a movie or book. The play, A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, is about a family who lives on Chicago’s Southside and is based in the time period between World War 2 and the present. There are many characters in the book who have their own individual personalities. One character who has a huge personality in the book is Walter Lee, Walter Lee is the dad to Travis and husband to Ruth. In the book there are many mistakes Walter made, but also good choices he makes.
