HOW MUCH DOES THE WAR ON DRUGS COST AMERICA EACH YEAR
INTROUCTION
Despite to the U.S. Government to eliminate drugs in America, the cost of fighting the drug wars continues to escalate. War on drugs twisted our world around completely, people who make drugs or sells drugs should really think twice about their careers. Most People will say these drugs cure them and the states but in reality it’s destroying them and their government.
A. “WAR ON DRUGS” or “WAR ON PEOPLE”
The U.S. Government Wanted To Stop the War on Drugs without Starting War with People But They Couldn’t Find A Way To Suffice. The Objective Was So Hard for the Federal & State Government Because Some People Called (King Pin’s), starts a Form of a Military to Protect Their Area and Drug Supply. War on Drugs Cost America a lot Of Money! The Government Spent Tax Payer’s Money on More (COPS) Community Oriented Policing Services, Jails, and etc. U.S. Gov. Increased Their Security Program To Stop Drug Abuse, Drug Trafficking, And Trying to Decrease Jail Population, But they failed. Billions of People are abusing their selves with prohibited substances.

The United States criminalization rate is upsetting because the United States is 5% of the world but has the percent of 25% of people incarcerated. 2.3 Million People in the United States are behind bars And 5 million under criminal justice supervision in the United States are being punished for a drug offense. Drug Policy Alliance Tries to Focus on reducing (decreasing) the percentage of people Snatched Up into the Justice System or deported for Drug Law Violations. Pot Prisoners Cost Americans $1 Billion A Year (http://www.alternet.org), Just Imagine 1 Decade Ago, That’s 10 billion. Our Government & Tax Payers Are Wasting Their Money On Unsuccessful Drug
