Was John F. Kennedy’s assassination justified? It’s not just to take anothers life against humanity’s vow of equality. However, the option of taking a life is truly in our power. On November 22, 1963 , president Kennedy was shot while riding through downtown Dallas. He was shot in the neck and head; he was driven to the nearest hospital immediately. Despite the fact the president Kennedy was linked to the mob , John F. Kennedy’s assassination was not justified, because he helped in the civil rights movement, he contributed to the protection of our country, and he helped people with intellectual disabilities. Kennedy Jr. was not justified because he helped many with intellectual disabilities as well. Prioleau notes that “ President Kennedy gave us a great vision of what could be when he proposed and signed the Community Mental Health Act in 1963.” ( Community Care). He became a staunch advocate of this agreement and of the disabled, partly in fact that his sister lived with this kind of disability and is still alive today. Prioleau also wrote in the article that “ Kennedy proposed a three-part plan for mental health care, with comprehensive community mental health centers at its core.” ( Community Care ). Kennedy put together a three part plan for the care of the mentally ill. This act helped to place mental health treatment facilities in communities in different states around our nation. There was also centers for research on mental intellectual disabilities. The plan was to have facilities or care centers in every state.These establishments would contain staff assistance and research development to help in the
