Because Arthur didn’t accept the game fairly quickly, it demonstrates that he doesn’t contain a few qualities it takes to be a good king. Also during the party, Arthur was drunk, which again isn’t something to do while hosting a party. The host shouldn’t be drunk while at their own party because that shows his guests he doesn’t care. William was a good king. I strongly believe that William was a good king, mainly because he had won many wars for his nation and had given them pride and land to live,work on and rule. Even though that he had raised the taxes really often it was for a good cause, like buy metals and other building material for military purposes or just for building houses for the serfs and their landowners. William was in his time,winning all his wars and bring fame upon his name. He was a good leader and protector for his people because all the invasions that were held in his domain he had successfully held them of and won.
The parallels found between White’s fictional work and the governmental campaign speech by Beth Noveck show that Arthur was nearly successful in his plans but also displays the differences in what they did which determined who would achieve their goal while the other did not. The connections made between real world situations and Arthur’s life demonstrated clear conflicts arising, often impeding Arthur in his quest for success for the good of his kingdom. While our modern society is adversely different to the fictional setting of The Once and Future King, the goals for Arthur and Beth were easily comparable yet it was clear that the King had many flaws leading to his demise. Arthur constantly made sacrifices that hurt him personally for the good of kingdom as did Beth by challenging those above her. In regards to changes, both leaders had a strong affinity for justice, the goal was to separate from the biased ideas that only served those who had a certain power in the government.
His love was strong but Modred was so evil inside he was taking the love as planning to get rid of Arthur so he could finally be king and do as he pleased. As Arthur was showing the love he was being betrayed by his son Arthur was good as Modred was so evil he was willing to. kill the man that raised him just to be king and other men that stayed were scared to leave or say something because. they knew and have seen what Modern had done to the men that stoop up to Modred and the men Modred had hired to protect

One of the reasons behind his success was a strong army and good organizational leadership that helped him to consolidate England. After being crowned the king, he became more preoccupied with consolidating his power and authority. He was also sensitive on the property holdings to understand the financial resources available in his kingdom, hence the publication of the Domesday Book.

King Arthur is one of the best kings that has ruled over Britain, throughout all of history. Arthur ruled with honor, loyalty, and chivalry, which made him a great king. Many lessons that he learned on his journeys helped him to become the person that he is. Arthur’s journey becoming king can be seen in the novel The Sword in the Stone by T.H. White, and is very similar to Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey.

King Arthur during his time as King of Britain was legendary as well as his legendary sword we all know today as Excalibur. Though King Arthur’s existence was questioned by some, it was said that Arthur led many historical battles with his brave and courageous style. King Arthur, the King of Britain was one of the most brave and heroic kings of all time.
Edward II was born on April 25, 1284. He was born at Caernafon Castle in Wales. On July 7, 1307, when his father, Edward I died, he became a new king. In history Edward II is known as someone who had been spending most of his time as a young man in gambling and luxury. He also loved music and dancing and he enjoyed in watching plays, as Gaveston mentioned in Marlowe’s play: “I must have wanton Poets, pleasant wits, Musitians, that with touching of a string May draw the pliant king which way I please: Musicke and poetrie is his delight;” ( Marlowe, line 51-54, 1594) These are definitely signs of a cultured man.
