Of course there were many downs but there were also ups about this system.It also depends on where you're born, how you grew up and how normalized to it are you. The set free alliance had said “Brahmins: The highest and most esteemed caste”. These people often hold the job of priest or teacher.” Kshatriyas: The second caste. These people are often known traditionally as warriors. They often hold the job of farmer, trader, or merchant.” Waishyas: The third caste. No unless you are in a place in the world that is very put together, which in the ancient world is very rare. The only thing that is different is that it actually has a name and that if there were other places there would be 3 instead of 4 of the castes. the middle class and the high class, but in the caste system it would be brahmins (the highest class), kshatriyas, waishyas, and the shudras, and the untouchables. The untouchables don't count as castes. The untouchables would be the slaves in this instance, the shudras would be the very poor people, the waishyas would be the farmers and the brahmins and kshatriyas would be the high class or the
