You’re swirling around on roller coasters and splashing around in a water park when you see the sign “Kings Dominion.” That’s right, Kings Dominion has been around for years. All starting back in Virginia in 1975, Kings Dominion has been a place of fun for all ages. There’s something for everyone, whether it’s the large water park or the classic coasters, you’re sure to have a good time.
There are many things about Kings Dominion that brings a smile to people’s faces, like the many rides they have. Kings Dominion has around 63 rides! Everything from Ferris wheels to speeding roller coasters they have it all. Most of their rides are a pretty decent amount apart, and walking time could build up; but it’s only because the rides are so big they need their space. The quality of the rides is good too. From many reviews, the rides were exhilarating, although mainly for older teen aged visitors. The lines aren’t too long, and many adults would enjoy it, because whenever my family and I go it’s not super crowded and wait time isn’t to bad. Next is their food. They have a pretty wide selection. Anywhere from the classic funnel cakes and fries to pulled pork, subs, and even chinese. The food s you can imagine is pretty expensive. Their parking lot is pretty huge, although it can sometimes be too far away from the park and you’ll have to walk a decently long distance which could be a bummer if you have a lot of bags. They do have prefered parking though, which bring you closer to the park. My family and I always get preferred parking because it’s actually worth it, but you could easily just come early and park up close for $5 instead of $20. They have a lot of spaces. I’d say anywhere between 250,000-300,00 parking spaces to fill up an average of 150,00 people, but still then it doesn’t get too
