We, as Bancroft, have an enormous impact on our ecosystem. Our behavior is mediocre and unacceptable when we need to take care of the environment. To most people, it is not apart of their mindset to keep a healthy domain. The most significant, negative effect that we, as Bancroft, have on the environment is that we abuse it by our careless actions. First of all, most of us are very wasteful. In other words, we constantly dispose items that shouldn’t be thrown away, and we overuse valuable materials. For example, I witness kids almost every day, not throwing away their trays of food on the lunch benches, leaving the supervision having to throw away the whole tray away, even if the food or drink wasn’t even touched. This shows that they are not placing the milk cartons and the trays in the correct places, and we are wasting food. Also, we waste a huge amount of paper.
