I still remember my grandparents often recall how difficult their lives were when they were young, claiming that my generation has much easier lives than they had in the 1960s. I could not agree with them more. Advancement in science and technology development have made life today different in comparison in the past when our grandparents were children. With many facilities and development in technology, today’s lifestyle is said to be more comfortable and easier than it was back then. In fact, in these days, our lives have been transformed in many aspects compared to what it was in half a century ago.

Back then, transportation took a longer time to reach a destination. People had to waste their energy by walking to some places like their schools or workplaces. Another option was that they could use trishaw or bicycle to transport themselves that could save more energy and time rather than walking. Some people would also use a bus or classic cab cars in order to travel to a farther destination. However, transportation today is much faster than back then. Instead of walking, people nowadays use cars to move around. Cars have also become more advanced in these days which is eco-friendly and saves fuel energy. From using fuel-powered cars, now many people have considered using hybrid cars which are powered by electric or solar energy.
