What is welding and how does it work? Welding is the process of joining metals together. The metals are not joined together by brazing or soldering. They are bonded together by the use of extreme heat and gases. Welding can go back to several hundred years ago. There are also several different types of welding. There is GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and oxy-fuel welding. Welding can also even be done underwater.
Safety is an critical consideration for any welding project. All welders need to respect the job and there job’s safety. While welding you should wear the proper attire. Female workers have an hard time finding a welding job becauses the men in the welding industry does not respect the women. Once a lady finds a welding job, they are more than likely not gonna have the same salary as a man welder. Women only make seventy eight cents to every dollar a man makes in the
