STATEMENT OF PURPOSE At a critical juncture as this in my life, and after having had a long thoughtful consideration of my industry experience, career goals, academic background, and personal abilities, I am looking forward for means to quench my thirst for knowledge, one that has made me opt to pursue Graduate studies. The eagerness to know more has driven me to maintain an exemplary academic record all throughout my student life. Right from my middle school, I have shown a deep interest in the fields of Pure Sciences and Computers. My flair for reading helped me develop a methodological way to seek answers for all my queries as time passed on. My responsibilities included interacting with the client team on a regular basis to understand the requirements, preparing technical design document, coding, testing and then moving the code into production environment. I delved deep into understanding their business model which encompassed the issue of credit cards, their usage and transactional management. The challenges involved maintaining the Inter Bank transactions, configuring the rules for the payment process of all the parties involved and a highly secured data transfer. The algorithmic approach followed by us proved to be of great value and stabilized the system in production environment. As a part of my next project, I was assigned to work for Wells Fargo & Co., The project dealt with the management of customer’s profiles, maintenance of all the service enrollments and alert generation mechanism. I developed the application named “Enhanced broadcast” all alone, which could deliver 3 million mails at a brisk pace. This was also molded as a reusable component and was selected for the Esteemed “Knowledge Shop”, which is a one stop portal for innovation at Infosys. As a result, I was bestowed upon the “Most Valuable Performer (MVP)” award by Mr. Abhay Kulkarni – The then Delivery Head, for my consistent efforts in delivering
