A western is a generof various arts such as film, television, radio, fiction and art. Movies that represent the stories of American West are known western movies. This genre often portrays wilderness of nature in the name of civilization.
"The good, the bad and the ugly", "Brokeback Mountain" and "Django unchained" are three different western movies from three different period. Let's take a look in the plot summary of these three movies.
 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: During the civil war three men- Angel eyes, Tuco and Blondie gets to know about $200,000 buried in a graveyard. Here Angel eye is a ¬¬-cold-blooded hired killer, Tuco is a wanted outlaw, and Blondie was his partner. Angel ¬-eye was aware of the money but he did not know in where it was hidden. Therefore, he was looking for a man name Bill Carson (fake name), who knew the location. On the other hand, Blondie kind of betray Tuco and leave him in the middle of a dessert. It is also known as Modern Western or Neo Western. One of the elements of this subgenre is favoring realism over romanticism. In "Broken Mountain", it was there. At that, time homosexuality was not acceptable in the society. Therefore, Ennis and jack decided to live separately and spend time together only once after four years. Another element of this genre's movies is "Stronger roles of women". Women this movie played a strong role. Ennis's wife knew about her husband and Jack's relationship. Still she kept her feelings inside her, so that her children could not know about it. On the other hand, Jack's wife was a strong woman who ran her own business. Revisionist western movies show more sympathetic portrayal of Native Americans and Mexicans. Ennis and Jacks relationship showed the portrayal clearly, as Ennis was Native American and Jack was Mexican. With all the elements, it shows that "Brokeback Mountain" is a Revisionist Western Genre
