Hi everyone, today I’m here to talk to you about King Solomon’s Western Wall. It is located in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. The wall is sacred, for being holy and also special for withstanding many rebellions.
Cultural Significance
The Western Wall is the only remains wall of the Holy Temple of Jerusalem making it a sacred and special place. It is thought to believe that the temple was the access to the spiritual world, a portal to a new dimension and access to God. Jewish traditions believe that the creation of the world began at the temple and that we should appreciate it deeply. The last wall standing in the temple became a prized figure among Jews and a religious site to all members of society. Ancient Greek philosophers say that the wall is protected by a magical force that will allow it to never deteriorate or be destroyed.

King Solomon’s original temple, Temple Mount, was first built in approximately the 10th Century BCE. It was then destroyed by the Babylonians, an ancient army who speak Akkadian, a now extinct language in 586 BCE. The temple was reconstructed in 516 BCE. It stayed the same in the same condition for 497 years before Herod the great, the Roman king of Judea helped the temple and began to expand it and refurbished it. After the adjustments, the new temple was double the size of the original one! The temple was once again destroyed in 70 CE when Titus, a Roman emperor and his Roman army came and abolished the sacred temple leaving only the wall behind and it soon became one of the most popular sites in
