”(Cameron N. 2014, February 24) Result of Westpac Know me Project The results of Knowme Project were amazing .Westpac has collected in AU$22 million in annualised revenue -AU$7.8 million of which is net profit from its targeted online communications as a result of its Know Me program. In 2007 Westpac started using SAS Analytics Pro and BI server in its unsecured finance department. SAS was the backbone tool for the analytics for this project. SAS was used to understand difficult calculations and also present the data in easy format. Foreshew, J. (2007, December 7) Around 40 users use SAS tools every day. The technology runs all customer insights for the entire unsecured finance group, which handles 2 million credit card customers. The analytical models created helped the bank to come up with new exciting promotions to retain the customers and come up with more up selling strategies.
