In Shakespear’s play Romeo and Juliet’s death was caused by poor decisions. If they had told their parents they could’ve been accepted and been able to survive. The first poor decision was not telling their family about their engagement. They knew that their parents wouldn’t approve but they could've told them. There was a chance that their parents would accept them. Lord Capulet would’ve been happy since Juliet was his only living child. He would’ve wanted her to be happy even if it was their enemy.
