The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is one of the widely debated pieces in the literary world. This novel opens by familiarizing us with the events of the novel that preceded it, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. At the end of Tom Sawyer, Huck gained a great sum of money and was adopted by a widow and her sister due to the situation with his father. Huck isn’t completely thrilled with his new life, but bears it due to being a part of Tom’s new robber gang. That’s until Huck’s father comes back into town and has to fake his own death while also helping a runaway slave hide away on an island. They continue to be on the run for a few days while also encountering many obstacles and challenges. However, one incident shines light to everyone involved
