According to GreenGarage one of the pros will be that of Interest groups using the democratic process. By that I mean that multiple people have the liberty to suggest and evoke their own ideas and opinions. Secondly, interest groups provide positive solutions. Meaning that if there is a problem to overcome, interest groups usually provide the finest solution and or the most affirmative solution. On the other hand, one of the cons will be of interest groups affecting themselves in an economical way. For instance, instead of favoring or putting more interest in the lower class, they seem to have more interest in the upper class since they seem to have more money. Interest groups, as well as people in the hierarchy believe that men should do certain things, that woman can handle without a doubt. For instance, a job such as that of veterinarians. According to The Street in 2000, there was about 69.6% of male workers, but in 2010 the number diminished to 43.8%, while the number of women workers increased by 23,000. This comes to show that we the people should provide change for ourselves. Although we the people have the power to operate in different jobs, we do not have as much power to intake laws. Aside from that, having minimal power gives us nowhere to go. It’s as if we were all intact in a small box where all the decisions are made for us and all we have is the power of a baby (eat, breathe, sleep). Although there is change being done, I believe that we should give the people (those who are not involved in the government) a better chance to participate in the government since we are the ones who are living with the laws that they are creating. There are laws that hurt as but then there are laws that benefit us. And I believe that some laws are made to benefit those who are working for the government rather than
