Character Compare/Contrast: Book: Insurgent by Veronica Roth Characters: Beatrice (Tris) Prior & Peter Hayes The characters that will be compared/contrasted are Tris Prior and Peter Hayes. These two characters were chosen because they don’t have anything in common and they don’t enjoy being in each other's company. Some things that are different between them are the way they view the world, the way that they act upon jealousy, and if they would save you from dying/getting hurt. One way that Tris and Peter are different is that Peter is constantly jealous of others and acts out of spite because of his jealousy, which normally has to do with violence. On the other hand, Tris is not a very jealous person because of the way that she was raised and how she sees the world. Also if Tris does get jealous she does not do anything to harm them, instead, she tries to make herself better or up to the other person's skill.
