In the classic story, The Three Little Pigs, three pigs are terrorized by a Wolf. The first two Pigs end up slaughtered, but the third little Pig lives through it all. The third little Pig possesses many traits that helped him to survive and escape the Wolf, and make him much more admirable than the others. He constantly outsmarts the Wolf which makes him stand out from the other Pigs in the story. This leads readers to believe the third Pig is unquestionably the most admirable of them all. The third little Pig is obviously the most admirable because he is quick thinking, logical, and very diligent.

In the beginning of the story, the three Pigs all build their houses out of different materials. The first two Pigs build their houses out of weak materials like straw and furze, which ultimately gets them killed. However, the third Pig builds his house out of bricks, which took much more time but in the end saved his life. The author writes, “The third little Pig met a Man with a load of bricks, and said, “‘Please, Man, give me those bricks to build a house with”’’; so the Man gave him the bricks, and he built his house with them,” and soon the Wolf tries to blow his house down, which the author demonstrates by writing, “Well, he huffed and he puffed, and he huffed and he puffed, and he huffed and he puffed; but he could not get the house down” (Pages 9-11). This displays to readers how the third little Pig built his house out of a durable material, which were bricks. The process took longer, but the Pig took care in building his house.
